Program Information:

The NL-S ALP is an alternative learning program serving the New London
and Spicer communities plus the surrounding area.
 The NL-S ALP senior high program provides a full time educational
program for at-risk students.  This senior high program also provides
independent study options to meet the needs of students that can not
attend school full time.
 The NL-S ALP middle school program provides a half day educational
option for students.  This program allows students to attend regular
middle level activity classes the other half of the day.
 The staff at each site includes a full time teacher and a
para-professional.  A special needs teacher, a counselor, and a
chemical dependency counselor also work part time in the senior high program.
 The NL-S ALP also offers a summer school program for students enrolled
at the senior high level.  The summer school option is also available
to students that have failed classes or need to make up credits in the
regular high school program.
