Who Can Attend?
You may choose to attend if you:
*score at least two years below performance on a local
achievement test,
*are at least one year behind in completing course work
satisfactorily or obtaining credit for graduation,
*are pregnant or a parent,
*have been assessed as chemically dependent,
*have been physically or sexually abused.
*have experienced mental health problems,
*have been homeless sometime in the last six months,
*have been excluded or expelled (ages 12-16) by a
school district, or
*have been referred by the school district.
Adults may attend at no cost if, starting
at age 5) you have completed less than
14 years of public or nonpublic
education, have a reasonable chance of
completing work toward a diploma within
two years) and you are:
*eligible for reemployment insurance benefits, or have
exhausted those benefits, or
*eligible for, or are receiving income maintenance, or
support services, or
*a displaced worker or homemaker, on state wage
subsidy, or participating in any programs under the
Federal Jobs-Training Partnership Act.
Getting Started
Contact your home school counselor if
you are interested. They will help you
determine the credits you still have to
complete in order to graduate from high
school and will connect you with the ALC
coordinator for further scheduling.
In this program:
*you will be assisted in assembling a portfolio of docu-
mentation or verification of your learning experiences!
*we'll assist you in learning to learn.
* you will create a learning plan for yourself.
*the result will be creating a self sufficient and productive
lifestyle for yourself!

Program Availability:
All programs available through the ALC
are the result of individual learner needs.
Each learner, with the assistance of the
coordinator, will create a learning plan
to meet their needs.
1. Required course work to complete resident school
district graduation requirements
2. Work experience programs paired with work seminar
classes
3. Parenting classes
4. Classes to make up failure in required courses or
credits at Milaca High School
5. Courses needed by adults to complete their
educational needs
6. Personal development programs
7. Study habit programs
8. Youth Service Programs
Students must complete all course work to receive credit.
No partial credit will be awarded.

school intermediate enrollment.
