Job Title:      FULL-TIME SLD/EBD SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER at the Faribault Area Learning Center High SchooL
Job Description:        A full-time (1.0 FTE) SLD/EBD Special Education teaching position at a well established Area Learning Center.  Work hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.  Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm.  Commencing on August 25, 2008.
Qualifications:         Experience working with SLD and/or EBD students preferred; knowledge of due process forms and procedures required; knowledge of instructional methodology especially reading, math and written language; knowledge of MN EBD criteria and the evaluation process including Functional Behavior Assessments; understanding the use of Positive Behavior Supports; knowledge of how to write a Behavior Intervention Plan; ability to work with a team; excellent organizational skills; excellent communication skills.  All candidates will be considered.
Licensure:      Teaching licensure by the State of Minnesota in SLD and/or EBD.

Job Description:        A full-time (1.0 FTE) Targeted Services teaching position at the Faribault Middle School.  Targeted Services is an Area Learning Center program that offers academic remediation and social skills building along with teaching organizational skills. Position commences on August 25, 2008.
Qualifications: Must have good organizational skills.  Strong background in remediation highly desired.  Excellent interpersonal relationship skills are required.  Must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision.   
Licensure:      Middle School teaching licensure by the State of Minnesota.
